The Indian team continues to dominate in the ongoing Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In their Super Six stage match against Scotland, Team India posted a massive total of 208 runs for the loss of one wicket in 20 overs. Telugu cricketer Gongadi Trisha created history by scoring a stunning century, becoming the first-ever batter to achieve this feat in Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup history.

Hailing from Bhadrachalam in Telangana, Trisha scored her century off just 53 balls. She remained unbeaten at 110 runs off 59 balls, smashing 13 fours and 4 sixes. Trisha opened the innings for Team India and delivered a match-defining performance.

Her opening partner, Kamalini, also played a commendable knock, scoring 51 runs off 42 balls, including nine boundaries. The Indian women's team has already secured a spot in the semi-finals of the tournament. Today's match against Scotland marked their last game in the Super Six stage.

In reply to India's daunting target of 209, Scotland struggled significantly. By the end of 10 overs, they had lost seven wickets for just 43 runs. Indian bowlers Ayushi Shukla and Vaishnavi Sharma shone with the ball, taking three wickets each.
