CM Chandrababu Stresses Action Plans to Realize Davos Investment Talks
After returning from his visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the need to translate the discussions and proposals from the summit into actionable outcomes. Addressing state officials, Chandrababu Naidu issued directives to prepare detailed action plans to implement the investment opportunities discussed at Davos.
This evening, Chandrababu Naidu arrived at his Undavalli residence from Gannavaram Airport and held a meeting with Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand and officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to review the outcomes of the Davos visit. He briefed the officials on the investment discussions held over three days with CEOs, chairpersons, and representatives of various companies.
The discussions, which covered sectors such as infrastructure, maritime hubs, artificial intelligence universities, global capability centers (GCC), data centers, food processing, core engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, green energy, e-commerce, innovation, and education, were outlined in detail. Chandrababu Naidu provided instructions on the necessary steps to advance these proposals over the next six months.
As a continuation of the WEF discussions, delegations from several countries, including CEOs, ministers, and representatives of major global companies, are expected to visit Andhra Pradesh soon. The Chief Minister instructed officials from respective departments to be prepared for these visits and ensure follow-up actions align with the proposed investments.
Expressing satisfaction with the meetings held with the CEOs of prominent companies, Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to prioritize implementation strategies for investment proposals. He highlighted the importance of sustained reviews and consistent engagement with the companies to ensure the successful realization of these investments.
The Chief Minister further advised Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand to closely monitor progress, conduct regular reviews, and maintain communication with the companies to achieve concrete results.
