Sankranthiki Vasthunam Is Not a Jabardasth Skit: Director Anil Ravipudi

The film "Sankranthiki Vasthunam" starring Venkatesh, Aishwarya, and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles, has been directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Dil Raju and Sirish. Released during Sankranti, the movie has been well-received by family audiences and is running successfully. So far, it has grossed over ₹200 crore and continues to rake in hopeful collections at the box office.

Marking a decade in the Telugu film industry, Anil Ravipudi addressed the media on Wednesday and responded to various questions. When asked about comparisons between the comedy in his films and Jabardasth skits, he said,

"Audiences have always supported my movies. I’ve grown tired of hearing such comments for every film I make. However, my films have achieved immense success. I don’t pay attention to remarks made by a few individuals. My sole aim is to entertain the audience."

Anil added that he has never faced disappointing days in his career, thanks to the audience's support.

"Whatever genre I have explored, audiences have embraced it. Their encouragement has made my career full of happy and memorable moments," he shared.

The director also mentioned that his dream of becoming a filmmaker came true with Pataas. He considers everything after that as a bonus. He expressed his wish to make an entertainer with Chiranjeevi and a film like Hello Brother with Nagarjuna.
