A private travels bus traveling from Tirupati to Madurai lost control and collided with a stationary tipper. The impact caused the bus to skid for about 20 feet before crashing into an electric pole at a road construction site. The pole pierced the bus, leading to the immediate death of four passengers.
Upon receiving information, police promptly arrived at the scene and transported the injured to hospitals in Vellore and Narivi for treatment. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of the accident.
