Brahmanandam Reveals Why He Has Reduced His Film Appearances
At the event, organized for the film produced under Rahul Yadav Nakka's Swadharm Entertainment banner, Brahmanandam and his son Raja Goutham are playing the roles of a grandfather and grandson. The movie is set to release on February 14, and the teaser event gave the actor an opportunity to reflect on his career and current choices.
Brahmanandam candidly addressed certain remarks he had heard, stating that while audiences still appreciate his work, some have commented that his recent performances don’t evoke the same level of laughter as they used to. He attributed this to aging, saying, “With age, I’ve realized I can’t deliver the same energy I once did.” He emphasized the importance of acknowledging one's physical limitations and adapting accordingly.
He further explained that his decision to reduce his film appearances was not due to a lack of opportunities or inability to perform. Instead, it was a conscious choice to be selective about roles and ensure that his performances remain memorable. “To leave a lasting impression on audiences, I decided to take fewer roles. It’s not about offers not coming in or my inability to act,” he clarified.
