Car Plunges into Irrigation Canal: Mother and Two Sons Die

A tragic incident occurred in the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district near P. Gannavaram. A car veered off the road and plunged into an irrigation canal near Chintavaripeta on the outskirts of Udimudi village in P. Gannavaram mandal. The accident claimed the lives of a woman and her two sons, while her husband survived.

Nellapudi Vijay Kumar from Pothavaram was returning to his hometown with his wife Uma and sons Rohith and Manoj after a vacation trip to Araku when the accident happened in the early hours. Preliminary reports suggest that Uma was driving the car when it lost control and fell into the canal.

Upon receiving information from locals, police rushed to the scene and launched a rescue operation. The bodies were recovered and sent to the government hospital in Rajolu for post-mortem examination.
