Founder of "Indian Army Calling" Company Accused of Fraud and Abuse

The shocking case of fraud and abuse involving the founder of the Indian Army Calling (IAC) company has recently come to light in Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh. Basava Ramana, the founder and president of the company, is accused of physically abusing and exploiting job seekers under the pretext of securing employment in the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

Reports suggest that Basava Ramana has targeted thousands of students, collecting amounts ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh from each individual with the false promise of securing government jobs. Many victims claim to have suffered physical violence, with some accounts describing abuse using a cable wire.

A video showing Basava Ramana assaulting students has gone viral on social media, amplifying public outrage. One user on the platform X (formerly Twitter) tagged Minister Nara Lokesh, urging him to take serious action, calling it a "very serious issue."
