Guntur Court Dismisses Nine-Year-Old Riteshwari Ragging Case

The Guntur District Court has dismissed the suicide case of Riteshwari, a native of Warangal district, who ended her life in 2015 due to alleged ragging and harassment. For the past nine years, Riteshwari's parents have been fighting for justice. They currently reside in Rajamahendravaram.

Riteshwari, an architecture student at Nagarjuna University, reportedly committed suicide due to ragging. In her suicide note, she mentioned that ragging was the reason for her drastic step. The Pedakakani police registered the case and conducted an investigation.

The trial continued for nine years in the Guntur court, which delivered its verdict today. Stating that the prosecution failed to prove the charges, the court dismissed the case.
