Jagan Announces Appala Naidu as YSRCP MLC Candidate

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced the name of former MLA Shambangi Venkata Chinna Appala Naidu as the MLC candidate for the Local Authorities constituency in Vizianagaram district. Jagan made the announcement today during a meeting with party leaders from Vizianagaram.

In his address, Jagan mentioned that in the recent Visakhapatnam MLC elections, the opportunity was given to Botsa Satyanarayana, who belongs to the Turpu Kapu community. This time, as party leaders have supported a candidate from the Velama community, the party has finalized Appala Naidu's name for the position.

Jagan highlighted Appala Naidu’s experience and status as a senior leader. He praised the collective efforts that secured the Visakhapatnam MLC seat and urged the leaders to show the same unity and spirit to win the Vizianagaram Local Authorities MLC seat.

Appala Naidu has been active in public service for nearly four decades. He has won the MLA seat from Bobbili four times and served as the Pro-tem Speaker in 2019.
