Jagan is ambassador for destruction, says Lokesh

Ippatam (Nandigama dist), Nov 9: The TDP national general secretary and former minister, Nara Lokesh, on Wednesday felt that the State is now experiencing JCB rule and the Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is a brand ambassador for destruction but not for construction.

Lokesh visited Ippatam village in the Nandigama district where houses were demolished in the name of road widening. After meeting the villagers whose houses were demolished, Lokesh told media persons in the village that it is really surprising that the Jagan Government which could not repair the damaged roads is demolishing houses in the name of road widening.

While a political leader takes pleasure in providing employment to the jobless and building houses to the poor, but Jagan Mohan Reddy is enjoying in demolitions. Not only the houses of the poor are being demolished but even the buildings owned by the TDP leaders are being brought down thus Jagan has started his JCB-rule, Lokesh added.

The compound wall of the houses of the TDP leaders Ayyannapatrudu and Sabbam Hari were pulled down while the compound wall of Geetham University too was razed to the ground. Jagan, in his three-and-half-year rule completely demolished the whole State, he commented.

The local MLA, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, turned Mangalagiri as the capital of destruction of Andhra Pradesh, he remarked. The poor should not have their own houses close-by Jagan's residence and thus such constructions were pulled down, he stated.

Lokesh said that the houses in Ippatam were razed to the ground only due to political enmity and this Government which could not take up repairs to the damaged roads is surprisingly cutting the trees in the name of road widening. There is no bus facility for Ippatam village and surprisingly the Government has come forward to widen the internal roads to 120 feet. What is the need for that in this village while such operations are not being taken up in any part of the State, he asked

"This is because the villagers allowed the Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, to hold his meeting in the village while in the last elections majority of the villagers voted for the TDP. This is the sole reason for resorting to the demolitions," he maintained.

Earlier, the villagers narrated their plight to Lokesh, who promised to take all the necessary measures and will come to their rescue once the TDP is back in power. The villagers told Lokesh that their houses were razed as they did not vote for the YSRCP in the last elections.
They complained that the Government resorted to this only due to political vengeance. Lokesh assured the villagers that the TDP will always stand by them and will soon come with some relief measures.
