Somu Veerraju to continue as AP BJP president till 2024 Parliament elections

Amaravati: A meeting of BJP's top leaders was convened in Amaravati. BJP leader Shiv Prakash clarified that Somu Veerraju will continue as the state president till the 2024 Parliament elections. From November, district-wise training programmes will be organised for the leaders.

He said that there is a possibility of padayatras in the districts for 15 days in December. Programmes will be organised to expose the failures of the YSRCP government. “We also highlight Prime Minister Narendra Modi's help to Andhra Pradesh and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s failure.” He suggested that BJP and Jana Sena should work together towards victory in 2024 elections.

Addressing the media about the State party office-bearers’ meeting, which was attended by D. Purandeswari, K. Lakshminarayana, Sunil Deodhar, Shiv Prakash, Y Satya Kumar and Somu Veerraju, among others, in Vijayawada on Saturday, Vishnuvardhan Reddy said the leaders discussed ways to take on the YSRCP, which did more harm than good to the State, in three years.
