USA: TANA director’s wife, daughters killed in road accident
Amaravati, September 27: In a ghastly road accident, wife and two daughters of Dr. Kodali Nagendra Srinivas killed on the spot when the car in which they were travelling rammed by a van in Houston, USA on Sunday. Currently, Nagendra is one of the directors of the Telugu Association of North America (TANA).
Mishap occurred when Nagendra’s wife Vani, an IT employee, returning home after picking up her elder daughter, who is studying medicine, from her college. His younger daughter studying eleventh grade was also in the car.
Nagendra hailing from Kurumaddali village in Krishna district completed graduation in medicine from Guntur Medical College. He moved to the USA for higher studies and working as a paediatric cardiovascular anaesthesiologist in Houston.
Nagendra has been serving on TANA Board from 2017 and extending support to Amaravati farmers, who are opposing decentralisation of capital. TANA members condoled the death of Nagendra’s wife and children.
