CM KCR to set foot in Vijayawada after three years

Hyderabad, September 16: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) to attend the 24th CPI National Conference to be held in Vijayawada from October 14 to 18. Apart from Kerala, Bihar, and Telangana CMs, communist leaders from 20 nations will participate in the national conference.
 
Three years ago, KCR visited Vijayawada and personally invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy for inauguration of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project.
 
The CPI national leaders are meeting CMs of non-BJP ruled states and inviting them to attend the conference. The CMs, who agreed to take part in conclave, will arrive in Vijayawada on October 16. The CPI national leaders will discuss with CMs regarding alternative political front at Centre.
 
According to reports, KCR likely to hold one-on-one meetings with Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan on October 16. His meeting assumes importance as he is getting ready to launch a national party.
