Bharat Jodo Yatra: Woman wants Rahul Gandhi to get married to a Tamil girl

Chennai: Whenever there is a mention of Rahul Gandhi's personal life, the subject of his marriage comes up. Rahul Gandhi, who is an eligible bachelor among political leaders, laughs and passes the matter whenever that topic comes up. This question came unexpectedly to Rahul, who was in the midst of the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh tweeted the photo with the caption "Hilarious moment".

As part of the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi interacted with the MGNREGA workers. Unexpectedly, an old woman asked Rahul, "Babu, when did you get married? She said, “We are aware how much you love Tamil Nadu, and if you agree, then we will see a good Tamil girl for you, the atmosphere there suddenly changed. Even Rahul was surprised by the unexpected question, but immediately relaxed and smiled."

Jairam Ramesh said in his tweet that Rahul Gandhi is watching these happy moments on the third day of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. Rahul launched the Yatra from Kanyakumari and it will conclude in Kashmir. This Yatra will run for 150 days across 12 states and two Union Territories.
