Teaser: Sci-fi thriller Yashoda with Samantha as lead is out

Hyderabad, September 9: The makers released teaser of upcoming Yashoda movie starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in titular role and key characters played by Unni Mukundan and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. It is written and helmed by Hareesh Narayan and K. Hari Shankar and bankrolled by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad and Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy under the banner of Sridevi Movies.
 
Mani Sharma has scored music for science fiction thriller and camera handled by M. Sukumar. Flick also stars Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma and others in supporting roles.
 
According to reports, the film is based on a true crime incident. Apart from Telugu, movie will be released in Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages. It was supposed to hit theatres on August 12 but got postponed. A fresh release is date is expected soon. Shaakuntalam directed by Gunasekhar is another movie of Samantha will be out on big screen in summer 2023.
