Manickam Tagore hits back at MP Vijayasai over Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra
Amaravati, August 31: YSRCP Rajya Sabha member V. Vijayasai Reddy posted a tweet on Wednesday criticising Bharat Jodo Yatra to be undertaken by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi from September 7. The 3,500 km-long yatra will start from Kanyakumari and conclude at Kashmir in 150 days covering 12 states and two union territories.
The YSRCP MP said that the Congress is launching walkathon to mislead people. “Just because the Nehru Family cannot win an election doesn’t mean that India is broken. India was never broken, is not broken and will never be broken,” he tweeted and said that the padayatra should be renamed as Congress’ ‘last breath before death’.
Responding to his tweet, AICC in-charge of Telangana Manickam Tagore mentioned that slave of Union Home Minister Amit Shah cannot understand pain of people. He said that Rahul Gandhi is taking up padayatra to highlight several issues faced by people throughout the country. “For your cases, you wash Shah’s shoes as no self-respecting Telugu will do,” he slammed Sai Reddy.
