Botched tubectomy: Bandi makes KCR govt responsible for death of four women

Hyderabad, August 31: Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay made KCR government responsible for the death of four women after undergoing tubectomy at a government-sponsored sterilization camp held at civil hospital in Ibrahimpatnam on August 25.

On Wednesday, Bandi Sanjay visited Apollo Hospitals here and consoled women, who were undergoing treatment after they were shifted from Ibrahimpatnam civil hospital. Talking to reporters, he expressed anger over Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for visiting Bihar to distribute financial assistance to kin of Army jawans martyred in Galwan valley without consoling victims of botched tubectomy.

The Telangana BJP chief condemned the record attempt of doctors to perform 34 family planning surgeries within an hour. “It is not right on part of KCR to ignore kin of deceased just by paying Rs 5 lakh as ex-gratia,” he stated and demanded that the Telangana government should take the responsibility of education and future of deceased’s children.
