Kavitha to file defamation suit against BJP MP Parvesh, Manjinder Singh Sirsa

Hyderabad, August 22: TRS MLC K. Kavitha wants to file a defamation suit against BJP MP Parvesh Verma and former BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa for alleging that she has role in Delhi liquor policy scam. She is reportedly holding discussions with legal experts for seeking an injunction order from the court against charges levelled by the BJP leaders.
 
Earlier in the day she appeared before the media and clarified that she has no role in Delhi liquor scam. “I am ready to cooperate with probe agencies,” the MLC mentioned and alleged that the BJP is levelling charges against her to threaten his father K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), Chief Minister of Telangana, as he has been criticising the policies of the Modi government. 
 
“We fought for several decades and achieved separate state for Telangana. With the same spirit, the TRS government will fight against the BJP government at Centre,” she stated.
