Six from Hyderabad die as car rams into container in Karnataka

Hyderabad, August 16: Five persons died on the spot when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary container near Bangur check-post on Hyderabad–Mumbai National Highway in Bidar district, Karnataka. Another five injured in the mishap were shifted to government hospital in Bidar for treatment. One succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
 
According to reports, Giridhar, who is working as a head constable in Cybercrime Department of Hyderabad police, visited a famous temple in Karnataka along with his family members and offered prayers to presiding deity after he got promotion. Accident took place while they were returning to Hyderabad. Joy of getting promotion has turned into sorrow because of road mishap.
