Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a woman killed her four-year-old daughter by throwing her from the fourth floor of the building. The scenes of this inhuman incident in Bengaluru were recorded on the CCTV camera.
After throwing the baby, she climbed the balcony railing to jump and stood for a while. On seeing her on the railing, the family members came and pulled her back. Police said that the baby, who fell from the building died on the spot. The incident took place on Thursday in an apartment in north Bengaluru's SR Nagar.
It is learnt the four-year-old child could not speak and hear. The woman was under mental stress. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot. Later, they arrested the woman based on a complaint lodged by her husband. She is a dentist and her husband is a software engineer. "We are investigating from all angles, including the mother's mental condition," the police said.
