Jr. NTR consoles kin of NTR’s daughter Uma Maheswari
Hyderabad, August 4: Tollywood actor Jr. NTR visited the residence of Uma Maheswari, who died by suicide on Monday afternoon, and consoled family members on Thursday here. Jr. NTR was accompanied by his mother Shalini, wife Lakshmi Pranathi and brother N. Kalyan Ram.
Uma Maheswari was youngest daughter of legendary Telugu actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). The actor was unable to attend last rites of Uma Maheswari as he was in a foreign country.
Her brother and Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and her brother-in-law and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh and other members of Nandamuri family have attended the final rites. Uma’s husband Srinivas Prasad lit the funeral pyre.
Former union minister and BJP leader D. Purandeswari, N. Bhuvaneswari and G. Lokeswari, sisters of Uma Maheswari, were among those who paid their last respects to her.
