Y.S. Sharmila flays KTR for asking people to suggest best OTT shows
Hyderabad, July 25: YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) president Y.S. Sharmila on Monday came down heavily on IT and Industries Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao, popularly called ad KTR, for asking people to suggest best OTT shows after he suffered tear in ankle ligament.
Speaking to the media here, she asked why can’t KTR work from remote location when people are suffering due to worst Godavari floods. “People worked from homes during the coronavirus pandemic,” she recalled.
Sharmila lambasted the ministers and ruling TRS legislators for not consoling farmers, who suffered crop loss, and displaced people after their houses submerged in floodwater. “TRS came to power by promising to fulfil several assurances,” she said and slammed KCR for not filling government jobs as promised.
Earlier, the YSRTP chief blamed the CM for submergence of pump houses belonging to Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project which was constructed with Rs 1.4 lakh crore in floodwater.
