Liger trailer out: If you are fighter then what am I, Mike Tyson asks Vijay Deverakonda
Hyderabad, July 21: The much-awaited trailer of upcoming movie ‘Liger’ released on Thursday (July 21). Vijay Deverakonda, the lead actor, is playing the role of a professional boxer. Ananya Panday is cast opposite Vijay in the flick directed by Puri Jagannadh. Former world heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will be seen in a special role.
The trailer ended with Mike Tyson replying to Vijay with a punch dialogue, “If you are fighter then what am I.” The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu in supporting roles.
It is bankrolled by Karan Johar, Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under the banners of Puri Connects and Dharma Productions. Music for the film is supervised by Azeem Dayani and camera is handled by Vishnu Sarma. The sports backdrop movie is slated for release in theatres worldwide on August 25.
