Alitho Saradaga: Ali recalls first meet with Venu Thottempudi at Yousufguda checkpost
Hyderabad, July 12: Senior Tollywood actor Venu Thottempudi appeared as a chief guest on Alitho Saradaga, a celebrity talk show hosted by comedian and actor Ali. Venu is making comeback on big screen after a long gap of ten years. He is playing a key role in the upcoming movie Ramarao on Duty in which Ravi Teja is hero.
The action thriller is helmed by Sarath Mandava and bankrolled by SLV Cinemas and RT Team Works. Rajisha Vijayan and Divyansha Kaushik are lead female actors.
To a question, Venu said that he bunked classes while studying engineering course and watched movies in theatres. “My father thrashed me with a belt when I was caught,” he revealed.
Ali recalled meeting the actor for the first time at Yousufguda checkpost. “I thought Venu was acting before me,” he said while Venu was laughing. The show will be telecasted by ETV on July 18.
