CM Jagan lays foundation for Apache, says 10,000 will get employment

Tirupati, June 23: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in ground breaking ceremony of the Apache, known for manufacturing world popular Adidas shoes, at Inagaluru village in Srikalahasti mandal on Thursday.
 
Speaking on the occasion, the CM expressed happiness over Apache’s decision to set up their unit at Inagaluru. In the first phase, the company will invest Rs 350 crore and another Rs 350 crore in the next five years, he mentioned. 
 
Jagan said that Apache’s unit will become operational by September 2023 and will generate employment to 10,000 persons “80% locals will get jobs in the company mostly women,” he added.
 
The CM assured to the Apache management that his government is ready to resolve any issue immediately. “I wish all the best to Apache for safe landing in Andhra Pradesh,” he said. Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath, Energy Minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy, MPs, MLAs and higher officials were present.
