KA Paul meets CBI director, submits complaint alleging corruption in Kaleshwaram

New Delhi, June 2022: Praja Shanthi Party (PSP) founder president K.A. Paul met CBI director Subodh Kumar Jaiswal here on Wednesday and submitted a complaint seeking action against the TRS activist, who slapped him at Jakkapur village when he stopped his car to address the media while he was proceeding to Sircilla to meet a few farmers, who suffered losses.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, Paul said that he also complained to the CBI chief about large scale corruption in Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation project. “Jaiswal told me that the CBI cannot proceed without order from the High Court or Supreme Court,” he said.

To a question, the PSP president mentioned that he has evidence to prove corruption in Kaleshwaram. But he did not reveal to reporters when they asked him. He expressed happiness over the BJP announcing the name of Draupadi Murmu as their candidate for presidential elections. Paul requested Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to support Murmu.
