YSRCP MP Nandigam faults Kodandaram, Haragopal for extending support to Amaravati farmers

Amaravati, June 4: YSRCP MP Nandigam Suresh faulted Telangana Jana Samithi founder M. Kodandaram and retired professor Haragopal for visiting protest camp of Amaravati farmers on the occasion of completing 900 days of stir, demanding the YSRCP government to retain capital of Andhra Pradesh in Amaravati.

Speaking to the media, Suresh on Saturday termed farmers, who are staging protest for Amaravati as the only capital for AP, as benamis of TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu.

The MP mentioned that Kodandaram and Haragopal should have consulted social activist Medha Patkar prior to visiting Amaravati from Telangana. Medha Patkar had alleged that Chandrababu as CM in previous TDP rule made Amaravati as a real estate but not a real capital.

Suresh stated that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to develop all three regions of Andhra Pradesh including Amaravati. He alleged that Chandrababu is responsible for not getting Special Category Status (SCS) to the truncated state.
