Hyderabad is best location for industries: KTR

Hyderabad, May 12: Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) on Thursday said Hyderabad is best location for industries after inaugurating Callaway Golf DigiTech Center here at Knowledge Centre in Raidurgam. The firm is investing Rs 150 crore in Hyderabad’s unit and will generate employment to 300 people.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said that management of Callaway Golf has selected a right place in India for spreading their operations. Global companies like Apple, Google and Novartis have selected Hyderabad to set up their second biggest campuses outside the USA, he recalled and added that golf is no more sport of elites.

“Telangana government is ready to provide all facilities for top golf companies in Hyderabad,” he assured. KTR wished that Callaway Golf should invest more in Hyderabad. Telangana IT Department, Principal Secretary, Jayesh Ranjan, Callaway Golf Senior Vice President Sai Koorapati and others were present.
