Movie artiste stages semi-nude protest in front of Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts office
Hyderabad, May 9: Movie character artiste Sunitha Boya staged a semi-nude protest in front of Tollywood film producer Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts office at Road No. 45 in Jubilee Hills here on Monday morning. On receiving information, the police reached the spot and shifted her to the Jubilee Hills police station.
Sunitha told police that the Geetha Arts had denied to pay her money despite request them on several occasions. She resorted to extreme step in a state of frustration. In the past, she protested outside of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce and Geetha Arts.
Earlier, she alleged that Telugu producer Bunny Vas had cheated her on the pretext of offering chances in movies. Based on the complaint of Vas and his followers, a harassment case registered against her. In 2021, Sunitha had released a video in which she alleged that Vas was threatening her and wanted to commit suicide. During lockdown, Sunitha earned her living by selling watermelons as she could not get a chance to act in films.
