Newly-laid road leading to Yadadri temple damaged with heavy downpour
Poor quality in construction of road laid to the temple was exposed with the heavy rain. Commuters travelling on roads in Yadadri are expressing anger over contractors and officials as huge potholes and craters have formed for a two-hour rain. Even, bus stand in Yadagiri Gutta is filled with rainwater.
The temple was renovated for more than five years and it was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on March 28. Yadadri temple is the only one in India which was built with black stone and it was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 1,200 crore. On Wednesday, Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana visited Yadadri temple along with his family and offered prayers.
