K.A. Paul placed under house arrest

Hyderabad, May 3: The police placed that Praja Santhi Party (PRP) founder president K.A. Paul under house arrest at Ameerpet here after receiving information that he is trying to meet the DGP without an appointment. Earlier, he demanded the DGP to suspend Sircilla SP, DSP and CI by making them responsible for attack on him. 
 
TRS youth leader Anil Reddy had slapped him while he was talking to the media at Jakkapuram village of Chinna Koduru mandal in Siddipet district on Monday. The cops also reportedly received information that Paul was mobilising his followers to stage a protest in front of the DGP office.
 
Meanwhile, Paul held a press meet on Tuesday and confirmed that he was under house arrest and his house is surrounded by 100 police personnel. “Is it wrong to meet the DGP,” he asked and recalled Mahender Reddy spoke to him over phone in 2012 when he was Additional DGP.
