Jana Sena student wing stages protest demanding relaxation in age limit for police jobs
Hyderabad: It is known that notifications are being issued for recruitments for various jobs in Telangana. In this context, a notification has also been issued recently for the filling of SI and Constable posts in the Police Department.
The Jana Sena student wing staged a protest in front of the Telangana ministers' quarters in Hyderabad on Friday demanding a two-year relaxation in the age limit for candidates in the notification.
Speaking on the occasion, Jana Sena student wing Telangana president Sampath Naik demanded that the government relax the age limit on humanitarian grounds as the Corona pandemic wreaked havoc and normal life came to a standstill for two years. He said it was not their demand alone, but the demand of the five lakh unemployed youth, who were preparing for jobs.
The youth in Telangana has been demanding job notifications for the past many years and fulfilling their demand at last the government has been issuing job notifications to fill up the vacancies in various departments. In this backdrop, those who crossed the age limit wanted age relaxation as the government could not issue notifications due to the Corona.
