KCR used plenary to criticise Modi govt: Kishan Reddy

Delhi, April 28: Union Minister Kishan Reddy on Thursday said that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao used his party plenary to criticise the Modi government at Centre.

Speaking to the media, he said that the Indian constitution gave KCR a right to start third or federal front at national-level. He can also aspire for higher positions in politics. However, Kishan Reddy found fault with the TRS chief for saying that change has to begin from Hyderabad with an alternative agenda. “KCR cannot talk about bringing change in national politics without showing concrete development in Telangana,” he slammed.

The union minister said that Indians residing abroad are feeling pride about their country after Narendra Modi became PM. “Modi stopped the war between Russia and Ukraine for a brief period and took measures for evacuation of 22,000 Indians from Ukraine,” he praised.

Kishan Reddy mentioned that Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will visit Hyderabad on Friday and lay foundation to the NHAI works worth Rs 8,000 crore. It is not clear as to whether KCR will attend the programme even though the NHAI officials have sent an invitation to him.
