KCR has no right to talk about national politics: Cong MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy

Hyderabad, April 28: Responding to TRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao’s remarks in party plenary, Bhongir Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Thursday said that he has no right to talk about national politics. “KCR failed to implement fee reimbursement scheme and did not fill 70,000 teacher jobs in government schools,” he slammed.

The MP mentioned that the Congress will not forge an alliance with the TRS as KCR had deceived Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi in the past. Prior to creation of separate state for Telangana, KCR had promised to merge his TRS whichever the national party grants statehood.

Venkat Reddy said that KCR did not criticise the Congress in the TRS plenary as people are aware Sonia responsible for formation of Telangana state. To a question, he slammed DGP Mahender Reddy for giving five vehicles as escort to MLAs. He opined that police committed wrong by violating protocol related to row between TRS MLC Patnam Mahender Reddy and TRS MLA Rohit Reddy.
