Hyd: Private travel bus overturns, 8 passengers injured
Eight passengers have suffered injuries when a speeding bus belonging to Orange Travels overturned on Addanki-Narketpally state highway near Hanumanpet bypass in the early hours of Saturday. On receiving information, the Two Town police personnel of Miryalaguda have rushed to the accident spot and shifted the injured to Area Hospital for medical treatment.
The mishap took place when the bus was heading to Bapatla from Hyderabad with 27 passengers. One of the injured passengers, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, recalled that all the passengers were sleeping when the bus overturned and no one knew what exactly had happened. Passengers sleeping on the left side of the bus have hurt compared to those right side of the bus, he mentioned.
Two Town CI said that no passenger had sustained major injuries. In the preliminary investigation, the cops found that overspeed driving has resulted in the accident. The police registered a case.
