Russia approves withdrawal of troops from Kyiv, Chernivtsi
New Delhi: Six rounds of talks between Russia and Ukraine ended a short while ago. The talks, which took place in Istanbul of Turkey, did not yield full results. Representatives of the two countries have been involved in the talks.
As part of the talks, Ukraine's reiterated its demand for an immediate end to the war. Though initially, Russia did not respond to this demand, however, later, it responded somewhat positively. Russia has agreed to gradually withdraw its troops from the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, and another major city, Chernivtsi. Meanwhile, the Russian delegation said it would review the new proposals and move forward.
