Guv approves govt proposal for allocating Mekapati portfolio to Buggana

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan approved the government's proposal for allocating Mekapati portfolio to Miniter for Finance Buggana Rajendranath Reddy.

Recently, Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy died of a heart attack. Hence, the portfolio held by Mekapati has recently been handed over to Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy. To this end, the Andhra Pradesh government sent a proposal to the Governor, who in turn accepted it.

Buggana was holding the Finance and Planning, Legislative Affairs and Commercial Tax portfolio. From now on, he will additionally take the responsibility of the Industries, Trade, IT, Skills Development, Training, Infrastructure and Investment. These were previously held by Mekapati.
