Nara Lokesh unveils novel by visually challenged writer Chinthakrindi Saijyothi
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, unveiled a new novel titled "Cheyi Veedani Chelimi" at his residence in Undavalli. The book was penned by Chinthakrindi Saijyothi, a visually impaired writer from Mangalagiri, who has overcome physical challenges to pursue her passion for literature using modern technology.

Saijyothi, a resident of the 26th ward in Mangalagiri, was born with visual impairment but refused to let it hinder her creativity. Utilizing voice input technology on her mobile phone, she dictates her stories, transforming her thoughts into text. Writing under the pen name 'Chaithrasri', she has previously published a poetry collection titled Kavitanjali and novels such as "Manchu Takina Prema" and "Evaru Atanu". Beyond fiction, her writings often reflect a strong social consciousness.

Currently working as a Junior Assistant at Nutakki High School, Saijyothi balances her professional responsibilities with her literary pursuits. During the launch, Minister Nara Lokesh commended her resilience, stating that she serves as an inspiration to the youth by proving that willpower is stronger than physical limitations. He specifically praised her ability to harness technology to excel as a writer and wished her continued success in her literary journey.

The event was attended by Padmashali Welfare and Development Corporation Chairman Nandam Abaddayya, TTD Board Member Tammisetty Janaki Devi, and Saijyothi’s family members.
