New Film 'Raju Weds Rambai' Ticket Priced at Rs. 99 in Anti-Piracy Move
Hyderabad: In a significant move aimed at curbing film piracy, OTT platform ETV Win has announced a flat ticket price of Rs. 99 for its upcoming movie, ‘Raju Weds Rambai,’ in single-screen theaters. The price will be set at Rs. 105 for multiplexes.

The announcement was made by ETV Win’s Business Head, Saikrishna, at the film's pre-release event in Hyderabad on Wednesday night. He explained that the initiative is a direct response to public sentiment following the recent arrest of an individual linked to the piracy site iBomma.

"After the arrest, many people commented that they would return to theaters if ticket and popcorn prices were reduced. We have taken that feedback seriously," Saikrishna stated. He also expressed gratitude to the Telangana Police for their action against piracy.

Saikrishna noted a previous success where the platform prevented the piracy of its film ‘Ka’ and emphasized the industry's role in the solution. "Piracy begins with us, and the responsibility to stop it is also ours," he added, urging audiences to support the move by watching the film in cinemas.

Directed by Sailu Kampati, ‘Raju Weds Rambai’ stars Akhil and Tejaswini and is scheduled for release on November 21. The pre-release event was attended by the cast and crew, with actor Kiran Abbavaram present as the chief guest.
