‘Rajasab’ Set to Enter the Sankranti Race in a Colourful Manner
Prabhas, who rose to pan-India stardom with the massive success of Baahubali and Baahubali 2, continues to command national attention with each of his film releases. Following the recent success of Kalki, Prabhas is currently busy shooting for his upcoming films Rajasab and Fauji.
On the occasion of Prabhas's birthday on Thursday, October 23, the makers of Rajasab released a new, vibrant poster from the film and officially confirmed that the movie will be released on January 9 as part of the Sankranti festival race. The newly unveiled poster, featuring Prabhas being welcomed by villagers with traditional drums and festivities, received a highly enthusiastic response from his fans.
Directed by Maruthi and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner of People Media Factory, Rajasab is being developed as a horror-comedy. The film features Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads, with music composed by Thaman. The teaser, released recently, was met with a positive reception, further heightening expectations for the film.
According to the production team, shooting for Rajasab is nearly complete, with the final schedule recently wrapped up in Europe.
The Sankranti 2026 release season is expected to see intense competition at the box office, with Rajasab scheduled to release alongside other major titles including Shivashankara Varaprasad starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, Anaganaga Oka Raju featuring Naveen Polishetty, and RT 76 starring Ravi Teja.
