Minister Nadendla Turns Doctor!
Nadendla Manohar, known for his role as a political leader and as the Minister of Civil Supplies for the state, appeared in a new avatar on Saturday in Kollipara. At a mega free medical camp organized at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Kollipara Mandal headquarters, Tenali constituency, Nadendla Manohar took on the role of a doctor, directly engaging with the public and inquiring about their health issues with a personal touch.

After inaugurating the camp, Nadendla Manohar emphasized that the coalition government places the highest priority on protecting public health. “This camp has been organized with the objective of providing corporate-level medical services free of cost to the underprivileged in rural areas. People who are unable to access medical services due to financial constraints or geographical challenges should take advantage of such opportunities,” said Nadendla Manohar.

The large-scale medical camp was attended by around 20 specialist doctors across various departments and 50 support staff. The services included expert consultations in women’s health, pediatrics, ENT, ophthalmology, dentistry, and cardiology. Free medicines were distributed, and diagnostic services like X-rays and scans were provided. Minor surgical procedures were also performed onsite when necessary.

Beyond formalities, Nadendla Manohar moved through the camp, directly interacting with patients. He personally approached those waiting at the outpatient department, patiently inquiring about their health conditions, and guided them to the relevant specialists. He also oversaw the process to ensure that proper treatment was delivered and even handed over medicines personally to the patients. His warm interaction and active involvement resonated deeply with those present. Putting aside his official status, Nadendla Manohar served the people as a common man and a doctor, earning widespread appreciation. Locals and patients expressed their admiration, saying, “As a people’s minister, he has now won our hearts as the people’s doctor too.”

During the event, Nadendla Manohar also assured that efforts would be made to establish a blood bank at the Kollipara CHC for the benefit of local residents in the future. He reiterated that public health is the government’s top priority and that such medical camps are essential in delivering quality healthcare services to people in remote areas. The event was attended by local public representatives, government officials, and a large number of residents.
