Vishal’s Health Update After Stage Collapse: Doing Fine, Says Production House

The Chithirai festival celebrations at the Kuthandavar Temple in Koovagam, located in Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram district, are underway with grandeur. As part of these festivities, a beauty pageant titled "Miss Koovagam 2025" was conducted for the transgender community on Sunday night. Actor Vishal attended the event as the chief guest.

However, during the event, Vishal suddenly collapsed on stage after losing consciousness. Video footage of the incident went viral on social media, prompting concern among his fans.

In response, Vishal’s production company, Vishal Film Factory, issued an official health update through a press note. “We would like to clarify the recent reports concerning Vishal’s health. While attending an event organized by the transgender community as the chief guest, Vishal fainted briefly due to fatigue,” the statement read.

“He had not eaten a proper meal that afternoon and had only consumed juice. As a result, he experienced fatigue and fainted. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where he underwent thorough medical evaluation by the doctors,” the statement continued.

“Fortunately, there is no underlying health issue to be concerned about. The medical team confirmed that Vishal is in good health and advised him to maintain a regular meal schedule in the future. He is currently doing well and is recovering with rest. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their continued support to Vishal,” Vishal Film Factory added.
