Puri Jagannadh Reveals a Country You Can Rent for a Day
Renowned film director Puri Jagannadh, known for sharing intriguing insights under the series “Puri Musings,” recently revealed captivating information about a lesser-known country that can be rented for a day.
Puri Jagannadh described the country of Liechtenstein, a tiny European nation with an area of just 160 square kilometers. He said the entire country can be toured by car within 30 minutes and noted that it is smaller than many international airports. He explained that Liechtenstein is located between Switzerland and Austria and is governed by a monarch. The royal family, he added, resides atop a mountain.
He stated that the country is home to Roman Catholics and that German is the primary language spoken. Liechtenstein has no access via air or sea, and can only be reached by train or car from Zurich, he said. Calling it one of the safest countries in the world, Puri Jagannadh claimed that the population does not exceed 40,000 and that crime is virtually non-existent, which is why residents rarely lock their homes.
According to him, the country offers significant tax incentives, leading many foreign entities to establish companies there. He mentioned that during national holidays and festivals, citizens wear traditional attire and that their National Day is celebrated on August 15.
In a particularly unusual revelation, Puri Jagannadh stated that anyone can rent the entire country of Liechtenstein for a single day by paying $70,000. On that day, he said, the guests are given a red-carpet welcome, provided accommodation in the royal palace, and honored like royalty. Street boards bearing their names are displayed, and fake currency notes featuring their photographs are printed, which can be used for purchases within the country. He concluded by saying that the people of Liechtenstein treat tourists with great affection.
