Anantapur MP’s Sister Among Victims in Uttarakhand Helicopter Crash

A tragic helicopter accident occurred in Uttarakhand involving devotees on a spiritual pilgrimage. The incident took place near Gangnani in the Uttarkashi district, where a helicopter crashed, resulting in the deaths of six individuals.

Among the deceased was Vedavati Kumari, who has been identified as the sister of Anantapur Member of Parliament Ambika Lakshminarayana. Vedavati Kumari was en route to Gangotri as part of a religious pilgrimage when the fatal accident occurred.

Her husband, M. Bhaskar, aged 51, sustained injuries in the crash. He was immediately transported to AIIMS Hospital in Rishikesh for medical treatment.

Another woman from Andhra Pradesh, identified as Vijayareddy, also lost her life in the same incident.
