Once Again, Shyamala Makes Sensational Remarks Against Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan

The tragic incident at the Simhachalam Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, where a wall collapse during the Chandanotsavam festival led to the death of seven devotees, has plunged the state into mourning. In the aftermath of the accident, YSR Congress Party spokesperson Shyamala made sensational remarks targeting Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.

Shyamala questioned the role of Pawan Kalyan, who she described as the Peethadhipathi of Pithapuram, in safeguarding Sanatana Dharma. She alleged that since the coalition government assumed power in the state, there has been a steady series of incidents undermining the faith of Hindus and opposing Hindu dharma.

Shyamala claimed that the series of distressing incidents began following alleged false propaganda by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu against former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding the sacred laddu prasadam of Tirumala. She said, “It appears that ever since then, the deity has turned away in anger, and the sequence of events that followed has been terrifying.”

She cited a string of events to support her allegations: the stampede during Vaikuntha Ekadashi that resulted in the deaths of six devotees and injuries to nearly forty others; the death of over a hundred cows at the TTD Goshala; the mysterious death of tortoises in Srikudumam and their subsequent incineration behind the EO’s office.

Shyamala further stated that reports of alcohol and egg biryani being found on the sacred Tirumala hills caused widespread outrage. Regarding the Simhachalam tragedy, she questioned how a wall constructed just twenty days ago could collapse. She alleged that the collapse was the result of greed for money among coalition leaders. “Today, the people have understood the true nature of this coalition government,” she said.
