Viral Video Shows Kuldeep Yadav Slapping Rinku Singh Post KKR vs DC Match

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by a margin of 14 runs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match held on Tuesday night. However, an unexpected incident occurred on the field after the match concluded. Delhi Capitals bowler Kuldeep Yadav struck Kolkata batter Rinku Singh on the cheek. A video capturing the incident has gone viral online.

Following the end of the match, Kuldeep Yadav, Rinku Singh, and other players were seen casually conversing on the field. During the exchange, Kuldeep unexpectedly slapped Rinku on the cheek. Though the conversation appeared jovial, Rinku seemed momentarily confused about what had transpired. When Kuldeep repeated the gesture, a visible change was observed in Rinku’s expression, indicating that the young player had turned serious.

The video related to this incident has rapidly gained traction on social media. Several individuals have criticized Kuldeep Yadav's conduct, stating that such behaviour is inappropriate even for a senior bowler. Many social media users have called on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to take disciplinary action against him.

In the match itself, Kolkata Knight Riders posted a formidable total of 204 runs in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to a collective batting effort. Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 44 runs off 32 balls, while Rinku Singh contributed 36 runs off 25 balls. In response, Delhi Capitals managed to score only 190 runs. Among Delhi’s batters, Du Plessis (62) and Axar Patel (43) put up a strong fight, but it was not enough to secure a win. Thus, Kolkata Knight Riders claimed a notable victory by 14 runs.
