Wall Collapse at Simhachalam Temple: Chandrababu Naidu Voices Grief
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate incident that occurred during the Chandanotsavam celebrations at Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Simhachalam. He stated that the collapse of a wall, which led to the death of devotees, has deeply disturbed him.
Chandrababu Naidu attributed the wall collapse to the heavy rainfall in the region. Offering his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, he said, “I am profoundly saddened by this tragic loss of life.”
He further stated that he had spoken to the District Collector and Superintendent of Police regarding the situation in Simhachalam. Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials to ensure the injured receive the best possible medical treatment.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that he is continuously monitoring the situation and reviewing updates on a regular basis.
