Heera’s Past Relationship Allegations Against a Tamil Actor Go Viral Amid Padma Bhushan News
Former prominent actress Heera has stirred a major controversy in Kollywood with serious allegations that are being interpreted as directed towards Tamil star actor Ajith Kumar. A lengthy post she had written on her personal blog several months ago has unexpectedly gone viral, reigniting discussions around its contents. The timing of the post’s resurgence has also raised questions among many observers.
According to the details, Heera wrote about her past relationship and experiences with a Tamil actor in a post published on her personal blog in January this year. While she did not directly name any actor, many have interpreted the details in the post as pointing towards Ajith Kumar. In her post, Heera stated that she had cohabited with a certain actor, took care of him during his spinal problems by attending to him in the hospital, and supported him throughout his career. However, she expressed anguish that he later distanced himself from her by falsely accusing her of being a drug addict.
In 1996, Ajith Kumar and Heera starred together in the successful film Kaadhal Kottai (released as Prema Lekha in Telugu). At the time, reports suggested that the two developed a close bond during the making of the film, which allegedly led to a live-in relationship. Subsequent reports indicated that the two later separated. Ajith Kumar later acted alongside Shalini in Amarkalam and married her in 2000.
In her blog post, Heera mentioned that after parting ways with her, the actor married his co-star. She alleged that during mediation efforts at the time, the actor remarked that he was marrying “a girl like a maidservant” and that “she would not object to him engaging in physical relationships with others in the future.” Although Heera did not explicitly mention any names, many have interpreted her remarks as targeting Ajith Kumar and Shalini. This interpretation has triggered strong outrage among Ajith Kumar's fans.
When Heera published this post in January, it largely went unnoticed. However, it has now gone viral coinciding with the announcement of the Padma Bhushan award for Ajith Kumar by the Government of India. Ajith Kumar's fans suspect that the resurfacing of the post is part of a deliberate conspiracy to tarnish his reputation. They allege that those envious of Ajith Kumar’s success, particularly fans of rival actor Vijay, could be behind the intentional spread of the post.
