Kadambari Jethwani Case: High BP Halts CID Interrogation of PSR Anjaneyulu
In the harassment case filed by Bollywood actress Kadambari Jethwani, former Andhra Pradesh Intelligence Chief PSR Anjaneyulu was arrested by CID officials and produced before the court. The court subsequently remanded PSR Anjaneyulu, after which he was transferred to the Vijayawada district jail.
Following a request from the CID to take PSR Anjaneyulu into custody for questioning, the court granted permission for a three-day custodial interrogation. In line with this order, CID officers visited the Vijayawada jail on Sunday to take him into custody.
During this process, PSR Anjaneyulu reportedly experienced minor health issues. As a result, officials shifted him to a hospital for medical evaluation. Doctors diagnosed him with high blood pressure. Given his medical condition, CID officers assessed that subjecting him to interrogation in custody might cause health complications. Determining that he was unfit for questioning, the officials returned PSR Anjaneyulu to jail.
