Nani Reacts to SSMB 29 Leaks: Details How Film Leaks Bypass Security on Big Sets

The much-anticipated film SSMB 29, directed by acclaimed filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli and starring superstar Mahesh Babu, recently concluded a shooting schedule in the forest regions of Odisha. The film, which is being made on a grand scale, has generated significant global expectations. However, the leak of some critical visuals from the schedule, especially those featuring Mahesh Babu, has become a subject of intense discussion online.

In response to these leaks, noted actor Nani, popularly known as the "Natural Star," has shared his views. He expressed that such incidents are nearly unavoidable when working on large-scale projects.

“A film by a top director like S.S. Rajamouli involves extensive production activities,” Nani said. “Thousands of junior artists and hundreds of technical experts work across departments. Normally, cell phones are not permitted on shooting sets. Yet, some individuals violate these rules. Some members of the team manage to smuggle phones inside, often by handing one phone to the security personnel and secretly carrying a second one to the spot. They take photos and videos clandestinely,” he explained.

Nani further remarked that when someone is determined to leak content, they find loopholes, and completely preventing such incidents has become a challenge. “There are many underhanded methods when someone intends to leak content. No matter how many precautions we take, these things continue to happen. Despite Rajamouli’s efforts to film the movie under tight secrecy, some visuals still made their way out. We must certainly curb these actions and work to prevent such incidents,” Nani asserted.

Following the unauthorized circulation of scenes featuring Mahesh Babu from the recent Odisha schedule, the film's production team responded swiftly. They initiated immediate steps to remove the leaked videos and photos from social media platforms.
